SaleStation POS
A cloud-based point-of-sale and business management platform for retailers in South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho and Namibia.
The problem
Small and mid-sized retailers across southern Africa often run on paper slips, spreadsheets or heavy desktop software. Owners lack live visibility into sales and stock, items get oversold, and it is hard to tell which cashier did what. Tools built for other markets also tend to handle regional currencies and local payment rails poorly.
The solution
One distraction-free platform where owners register in minutes, add items and staff, and start selling straight away, with no software to install.
- Role-based workspaces for super-admin, admin and cashier
- Stock-aware checkout: warnings at 5 units, automatic lock-out at zero
- Multi-store support with isolated per-branch inventory and shared items
- Itemised receipts with unique transaction IDs, flat or percentage discounts and automatic change
- Paystack subscription billing in ZAR with a 2-day grace period, audit logs and Excel/CSV exports
- Display currencies: ZAR, BWP, LSL and NAD
